What Is Powder Coating?
Powder coating is a finishing process where a dry powder is applied to a part with an electrostatic charge, then baked in an oven until it melts and cures into a hard, even coating. Unlike wet paint, there’s no solvent to evaporate. The powder bonds into a single tough layer that resists chips, scratches, and corrosion far better than a sprayed-on finish.

Surface preparation & pretreatment
A coating is only as good as the surface under it. Before any powder goes on, parts are cleaned and pretreated, degreasing, blasting, and a chemical pretreatment that strips oils, rust, and mill scale and gives the powder something to grip. Skip this and the best finish in the world will eventually flake. We don’t skip it.
Color & finish options (RAL palette)
Color comes from the full RAL palette, so matching a brand color or an existing part is straightforward. Beyond color, you choose the finish: gloss, satin, or matte, plus textured and metallic options where you want the surface to hide marks or add a particular look. Tell us the RAL number, or send a sample and we’ll match it.
Materials & Parts We Coat
We coat steel and aluminum parts most often, brackets, frames, enclosures, panels, guards, along with the fabricated assemblies that come off our own floor. From a single prototype to industrial powder coating on production batches, parts up to max size fit our oven. If a part has features that shouldn’t be coated, like threaded holes or mating surfaces, we mask them before coating so they stay clean.
Why Powder Coating?
Powder coating earns its place for a few practical reasons. It’s tougher than wet paint, standing up to impact, abrasion, and weather without chipping. It resists corrosion, which matters for any part that lives outdoors or in a harsh environment. And it’s a cleaner process, no solvents and very little waste, with overspray powder recovered and reused rather than vented off. A properly coated part can hold its finish for years, often well outlasting a comparable wet-paint job.

How durable is powder coating?
Very. A properly applied powder coat resists corrosion, UV fading, chemicals, and everyday wear, and it won’t chip or peel as easily as wet paint. Outdoors, a good coating can hold up for many years before it needs attention. Indoors or in mild conditions, longer still.
What colors and finishes are available?
Color comes from the full RAL range, so almost any shade is available, including custom matches. For finish, you can choose gloss, satin, or matte, plus textured and metallic options. Texture is useful where you want to hide minor surface marks; metallics and high gloss are common where appearance is the priority.
